Two More Masculine Birthday Cards

Hope you are enjoying a nice Memorial Weekend! Special thanks and remembrance to all those who have given their lives in service in order that we enjoy the freedom they defended for us.
Today, I have two more Masculine Birthday cards to share from our swap the end of April.

I love the set By the Tide. I dont live by the ocean or have a beach close by but when I see the samples made with this set, it takes me there. The back ground is done with the Coral stamp and the cute balloon that the fish is holding is just to cute!!!

This cool card was done by Carol Johnson. She used the Walk in the Wild set and the HAPPY BIRTHDAY greeting was from the Hostess set Simply Sketched. That set has several good greetings and I am sorry to see them go. She used some ink refilss to make the marbled back ground with Bermuda Bay, Garden green and Wild Wasabi -the photo does not do it justice. It is a cool techniques you must try! The Moose is adorable! I know that is not a "Masculine" description, but he is just so "Guyzie"

Hope you got some inspiration from the cards and it helps you to create somenice masculine cards too!

thanks for stopping by! drop by again and see what I made for the upcoming Swap on May 31st!

Masculine Birthday Cards

Hello! Happy Memorial weekend to you. I know every one is busy this weekend but I want to share a few Masculine Birthday cards over the weekend from my Swap group. These 12 ladies are very talented, as you have seen so far since Easter-

Here is number one-

This was created by Beth Rozek-Langhorne
She used the Label Love, World Map and Serene Silhouettes stamp sets. Isnt that Argyle Emboss folder cool looking?  The basic Grey and Whisper  White look so nice-thats my red placemat it was on when I photographed it.

Here is number two-
This was Created by Linda Pagel
Rev Up the Fun,Gorgeous Grunge and Tiny Tiny Wishes. The splatter on the Basic Grey looks likeDSP paper. Grab this set fast since it is retiring and also the ribbon will soon be gone.

Number three-

This is created by Becky Hay de Garcia
The stamp sets she used were By the Tide, Gorgeous Grunge and Teeny Tiny WIshes. This is Triple Time Stamping- at least that is what we call here in my area. It is a fun technigwue to do- Love this stamp set and so glad it is still in the catalog.

Hope you got some inspiration and I have a couple more to share with you on Saturday night. Be sure to check back to see them!

Enjoy your weekend and Happy Stamping!

Part 2 Fathers Day Swap

Hey There!!!! Here are three more Fathers Day cards I want to share with you today-
Part 1 posted last night and they were so cute.

This Open Sea card was made byDebi Calandrelle from Hagerstown, MD
Baked brown sugar and Coastal Cabana are so nice paired with the crisp Whisper White. The Antique brad at the left on the compass is a terrific accent.

The card above is made by Jean (sorry, I cant read her handwriting on the last name)
I love Wetlands! This Goose or Duck, is such a nice masculine item. The set also has some cute little birds that I adore. They look as if they are running along the  waters edge on a beach. Good color combination of Crumb Cake, basic black and whisper whilte. The Old olive marker for the grass is accented with a green glimmer brad that is holding the message. Nice card!

Last, but not least, is a card by Tammy Wilson from Applegate CA
I love Grunge! Off the Grid is a great back ground and I am so sad it will not be available after June 2nd.
Be sure to order that off the retiring list- its a must have. The embossed fish from By the Tide and splatters from Gorgeous Grunge with a lot of distressing.....Its a Wow card. The card is Sahara Sand then  a layer of Marina Mist, then Old Olive. Arent those metal buttons cute- so glad the kept them and put in our new catalog!

Hope you enjoyed the Fathers Day Cards and I look forward over the weekend sharing the Birthday Batch next.
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Fathers Day Swaps

My group of Ladies that are from all over the US did a Fathers Day/Masculine Birthday cards. They are just fantastic and I want to share the Fathers Day cards first since it is coming up June 15th. Here are the first 3:

WOW!!!! I love the burlap accent she did with the metal button. Lovely as a Tree is STILL in the catalog! It must be the longest running stamp set. This was done by cbautx@live.com
Black embossing really sets this off and on the wood embossed matt, very masculine.
This cute card was done by ????? her name is not on the recipe but if I  take the time, by process of elimination, I can maybe tell you who did it. So Cleaver- Its a quarter cut can the square on the front is what opens up and is the inside for you gretting. Love the Old World Map
The colors are so nice, this does not do it justice.
This was made by Liz Marcucci. Stuming color combination. This is actually basic grey, real red and whisper white. The DSP is I AM ME. The Die cut Alphabet spelling DAD really sets it apart and vey "Guyzie"

Tomorrow, I will share the other 3 Fathers Day cards and then share the Birthday ones. Hope you got inspired, cause that was our goal. Dont forget to check the Retired list before things are gone.

My co-hearts at the premier

Just sending out a big thank you to my co-hearts and down line for attending the Catalog premier at the Plano Theater. We had so much fun and enjoyed the presentation so much. They shared a lot of ideas with us and I am anxious to share with you very soon.
Also want to take a minute and say hello to my other down line Becky Sanburg who now lives in Colorado.

She attended the Denver Premier and she really had a good time and made some new friends while she was there. That is one thing I love about Stampin UP. You can go to a function alone and make friends that you will cherish.

I want to tell you all how lucky I am to have met you all! Some of you are family and some of you are my best friends who I consider my family. I cherish you all and appreciate your support and business.
Always know I am here if you ever need me!

Rescued by my friends!

While lamenting over the fact I forgot to take photos of all the notebooks I made for my down line to take notes at the Premier, my friends have rescued me and sent photos of the their books!!!
It was so dark in the Theater it was hard to take notes, and yet all the photos I was able to take, are washed out and to light.
This is Melinda's note book- I love that Watercolor paper. See the pen has the matching paper?

This is a photo of Ronna's note book.  She also rescued me and sent a snap shot of her book too.
They are so fun to make!

Cut the card stock to fit the front and back, Cut a contrast color to use for the binder. I used the glue stick all over the cover and then pasted on the DSP.  A little red sticky tape on the binder piece and Viola!!!! You covered your book!

The pen was covered using the DSP and some clear packing tape. You just stick the paper on the tape with about 1/4 inch of tape at the beginning so it grips as you wrap around the pen. You can also cover chap sticks and lip gloss the same way.

Thanks for stopping by. I am pouring over my new catalog and have made my wish list to place my
Pre Order- Cant wait to get my order!!!!
