Paper Clay

I was suppose to be working on my swap idea for convention but instead made my Mother a Birthday card. Got it done, was going to take a photo and post it for you but put it in the envelope, licked it shut and mailed it!!!! Than remembered I forgot the picture---so sorry!
So instead, here is the stash of flowers and buttons I have made with the paper clay-
I am doing them white so I can color what or when I want to. Thinking about using them on my swaps for conventions. There are about 25 here, I have about 50 more to make. You can really make these fast. Be sure to try it out.

Sunday June 9th Bloomin Bouquet card

So, I was wrapping up some of the ribbons for the shares, got to cleaning my table and putting away stuff and next thing I knew, I threw together a card using one of the flowers from the Bloomin Bouquet kit.
I will do my bunch of flowers later, but thought to myself, it sure could make a fast, cute card......
I cant find the rotate button!!!! This Blogspot is new to me and I cant get this turned.
Tilt your head to the right!!!! LOL
Stampin Up is doing a few Polyphotopolymer stamps- wow- thats a mouth full!!! They are absolutely clear, stick to the clear blocks REALLY good. I have been buying them cause they are quaranteed not to yellow like some of the "Contraband" companies. They are edgey, sassy sayings....great for teens, brothers and young adlults. Not all gooshy sweet-
have you tried any Washi Tape??? Awsome!!! just tear off a piece and stick in on your card or scrapbook page. Later this week I will do a card for you with the new Washi in the Idea Book.

Well, have to run, going to be a busy week getting all the ribbons shares cut. Then I will be working on the DSP.
Contact me if you have any questions or need my help!

Blog Hop

Welcome to the Blog Hop! You have just been on Jessica's blog scrapsprinklecrop.blogspot.com
She always has such cute ideas!

You are now at CreatingwithCaren and here are my card ideas from the new catalog preview products we were able to preorder by being Demonstrators. You should think about joining us so you too can get in on all the benifits we enjoy.

Simply Sketched:
I love the simplicity of this set. Not to frilly for a Birthday card that could even be for a man. It comes with some great greetings and a cute flower that looks like a poppy and some foliage.
I embossed my whisper white cardstock about 3/4 down leaving it smooth for my greeting with the Fancy Fan folder. Then stamped the cute bird before I used the Designer Frame folder and cut it out. The Happy Birthday was stamped with Early Esspresso and tied a bow with the 1/8 " Old Olive taffetta ribbon.

My next card is  cased from one of my favorite blogs Julie Davison of Julie's Stampin Spot. She showed how to whitewash on the crumbcake cardstock- a really cool technique!
Card base is the new In Color Strawberry Slush, mat is Crisp Cantaloupe and Secret Garden set is randomly stamped on whisper white with the same to color ink pads and also Pistachio Pudding. The greeting Thanks so much is from the Simply Sketched set.

Well, Hope you enjoyed my projects and that you got some inspiration to create something yourself from the new catalog. So now, click on the link and go see what Cali has in store for you on her site. She is such an inspiration!

Happy Sunday!
I am proud to announce my first Blog posting on my new site today. A few of my friends and I are going to start a small blog hop on Monday June 3rd and I want to invite you to join us.

Today, I want to be sure you know the new Stamping Up catalog was released on Friday June 1st at noon.
If you dont have a catalog and need one, just be sure to contact me with your mailing address so I can get one on the way to you.
I will be offering some Ribbon Shares, DSP shares and thinking about some accessories too. Will post all the information for you soon. I am waiting for my 1st order to arrive this week.

For the month of June, Stampin Up has a new promotion called Grab your Greetings. They are offering three popular greeting sets at 25% off.
Contact me if you want to get one of these while the promotion is going on. You can use your savings to get something new from the catalog.

Recently, I did a presentation at our Go Stamp It demonstrator meeting and used bubble wrap to emboss on the card.
I saw something similar on the SU website promoting My Paper Pumpkin. I was praying it was going to be one of the kits, but so far no, so I had to create my version.
It was a lot of fun and all the ladies loved it! I also made 16 cards and gave them as my swap. I figured this way they saw the demo and had a sample in their hand to see it and do it there way.

Well, I have to run and finish up one of my projects and get it posted and linked to the other sites for the blog hop. Hope you plan to join us and talk with you soon!
Happy Stampin
