Sunday 1-27-19

So--the weekend is winding down and its already the last week of January. Where did the month go?
I just cant believe the 1st of February is the end of this week-
It is still Sale A Bration time. This is the best sale Stampin Up does all year.
With the new Occasions catalog just starting , you surly have no problem spending $50 and you must be so excited to pick out your FREE item.
I just love this time of year myself-

Here is a tool in our catalog that every one needs-
This is the Take your pick tool

It is so helpful when you are trying to pick up tiny sequins or punched pieces to put on your projects.
There are several tips to use. A spatula, a pokie tool and putty in one part to pick up tiny items.
Everyone needs to have one of these-only $14.00
Item #144107

Now, Let get down to my project for this weekend-

This is one of our new containers for treats. its got a lid and it is about 4oz of anything you can think of to put inside. I am going to put some kind of party mix in mine
I had to tear one cup apart. I made a pattern on paper so the DSP would go around the container.
I used a 3" stitched circle framelit for the base on the top and then some of the cute hearts from the
Be Mine Stitched Framelits.
They are so  beautiful!
I love Valentines day and really enjoy making treat holders-
Stay tuned as I will be sharing more of my projects with you again next week.
Thanks for stopping by today-
See you again soon.
Happy Stamping!

Happy Friday!

Hope everyone is having a great Friday and that your week was really good-
I had some time to create some cute things and it is such a stress release for me.

This is my version of an idea from a magazine I get every quarter from Stampin UP. Each quarter, I get a new copy. This was just a note card but I used it as my focal point and mounted it to a A2 size regular card front.
The base is soft seafoam and I used Lovely Lipstick, powder pink and the All My Love DSP paper.
I am a big fan of any Holiday. Valentines is a great time to spread some love to all your family and friends!

Treat holders are a favorite of mine-
I enjoy LeAnn Greff's site Flowerbug and cased this cutie-

It is about 3x4
I used the Dot TEIF and my BIG SHOT to texturize this and give it some pizzazz
it fits a Russell Stover chocolate covered marshmallow heart- YUM!

Thank you for stopping by and letting me share- Hope you get inspired and create some thing  yourself-
Happy Stamping!

Happy Sunday to you all-

What a week this was. So busy at work this week but I was sure ready for the weekend.
spent my Sat nd Sunday working on some Valentine ideas.
The items I used were from the new Occasions' catalog
This is our Forever Lovely stamp set and Lovely Flowers edgelit dies on page 5.

The colors are Flirty Flamingo, Lovely lipstick, Soft Seafoam and crumb cake.
Check out our cute ribbon with the white stitching on the edge.  How do you like the All My Love DSP paper? It is 12 x 12 and has such cute designs.
Can you see the shadow stamping that is under the white by the DSP?

Next, I want to share one of my treat holders I made too-

Isn't this cute? It is made from one of our pillow boxes we have in our Annual Catalog.
It shows another cute DSP paper in the All My Love paper pack and the Lovely lipstick foil paper in our Sale A Bration Pack that was free! You get some Grapefruit and Lovely Lipstick colors in the pack. Hey, Valentine is from a cute stamp set called Hey Love. It has some adorable animals.
This is the perfect size to fit some candy inside and give away to someone.

********MEANT TO BE***********

I wanted to share a cute Valentine card from my recent swap-
The stamp set is from our New Occasions Catalog.
This is called Meant to Be and it has a fabulous set of framelits that go with it.
You can save 10% if you purchase both as a bundle

The card base is crumb cake 5 1/2 x 8 1/2
The DSP is our new ALL My Love 12 x 12 paper.
I have a tiny bit of Soft Seafoam as a mat under it.
I used crumb cake ink to stamp the sentiment and don't you love those cute hearts!
When you cut the solid heart out, it cuts an outline scallop heart too-
Then I added some embellishments like the epoxy heart and the cute tiny bow.

Hope you get some inspiration from this card and you are starting to make your Valentine a card.
This month I will be doing more items and will share them here with you.

Happy Stampin!Caren

I had an event this weekend for my PEEPS who Have been my core group of stampers since when I started as a Demonstrator 9 1/2 years ago-We missed our friend JoAnne and amother  stamper, Debbie has moved out of Texas.
I sent out an invitation the asked
Do You Trust Me?
Linda, Lorraine, Marcia and Melinda were able to accept and attend. I am posting this as one of my 6monthstampingoals#

We had the best time as I gave them a Paper Pumpkin Party and we did a make n take.

The food was fabulous and the Champagne was cold! They really loved the card we did with the in Free gift in the April PP - such a cute set!

These are a few photos from convention at the Paper Pumpkin area. Never be upset with what is in the kit..Always check out all the alternative ideas all the faulous Demonstrators make and post on the internet and Pintrest and Face Book.

The Lovely Wreath turns into a cute Holiday wreath

Here are two other ideas if you arent in love with the Wreath-
cut off all the leaves and you can make cute cactus note cards or start your Holiday card making and turn them into a cute card to mail-

Finally, here is the card we made with the All About Everything FREE stamp set that was in the April Kit. I wanted them to all experience the fun and surprise I get every month.
It was a fun way to say thank you all for your support and love.

Where has the Month gone? June, Already?

I can not believe I have not posted since May 9th! It's been a busy month both at work and with a few extra trips up to OKC to see my Mother. She had a little tumble, nothing broken that goodness and then this last week a little episode breathing and she panicked and called 911.
All is good now, and we will be back up in OKC next weekend to celebrate her 91st Birthday.

I am drawing my design to make her a special card for the occasion. Havent started it yet, but I have about 5 days to get it done.
My sister sent me the card she has made-

Look familiar? This was the Dec  Paper Pumpkin calendar kit. How nice to create it as a card front and circle the special day for someone's Special event. Wouldn't this even be a great Wedding Card?
How special would that be for the new bride and groom.

Here is a swap card I made for a group I joined, who are from all over the USA.
There are 11 of us and every month we send our cards in and get some really nice
Over The Top samples.
We have to do 4-5 layers and embellishments etc. Its so fun to really go all out
May was for Wedding, Sympathy or Anniversary.

Ready-stamp all your elements

Set-Figure how how you want to place them-
(how about that coral nail polish!!!)

Go- The final outcome. It i s a Z-fold card.
4 1/4 x 11
score at 5 1/2
then score the front at 2 3/4 and you band it backwards.

 Inside

Well... I dont want to ramble on but think I better give you a break!
Hope you are enjoying the New catalog. If you need a copy, just let me know.
My Wish list is large- bet yours will be too!
Thanks for stopping by today!

A Successful class!

The Endless Birthday Wishes card class was a lot of FUN! I have done the class three times so far-

Peggy C was at the class in OKC along with My sister and Mother

Then I did the class April 30th with my stampin Peeps Melinda, Marcia  and Lorraine-
I cant not believe we got no photos!!!#imbringingbirthdaysback#6monthstampingoals

Third class was with My stampin Peep JoAnne W.

I mailed out two classes in the mail and the third one will go out this week-
This has been one of the fastest and fun classes we have done in a long time.
Seems like I should do more Classes by Mail????

Here is another really cute card to so with this Endless BD Wishes set-

Isnt this cute? It is from the new Catalog boards that were up at the ON STAGE Live event in SLC a few weeks ago.

Hope you are stampin a lot and if your a demonstrator, place your pre-order so you can enjoy making samples and using your new projects to share with customers and friends when the catalog
 goes live in June-

Thanks for stopping by today and I will start to send you photos of my samples from the class I thought

A few more samples I did for the board at ONSTAGE LIVE

It was so funny trying to use my brain and be creative to make my own samples! I was to do 12-15 of them to display.
I work outside the home and rely on CASING from the fabulous ladies who post on the internet. But, not this time. I was on my own. YIKES!
I used the curvey box thinlit and the botanical blooms thinlits to decorate the box. The "HI" is from the OH HAPPY DAY kit. The flowers are Flirty Flamingo on emerald envy box. I cut that top flower in half so when you open it, you dont tear up the box.

I am making myself get used to the  Emeral Envy in color-

I used the confetti emboss folder and made my own DSP paper that is under the Lable.
Have you ever shredded your white jute ribbon? I did and colored it Emerald Envy also.
The Label framelit is the largest one. Then I used the metal framlit as pattern and
traced it on a piece of Flirty Flamingo for the bottom layer you see.
Cool huh?

so this one-

I love the Sweet SugarPlum in color! This is the Birthday Celebrations.... i think-.
I made soft sky clouds and Tip Top Taupe Flying thingies and clear Whink of Stella .
Its amazing that after your kit is gone, the stamp set lives on!!!!

n a couple days, I will have the last part of the samples.
Thank you for stopping bu my site today!
There is more to come-
Soon the new catalog will be out and I cant wait for you to see it!

Happy stampin!

It's a wonderful card - just so feminine -

This framelit is on sale until midnight Monday 4-11- 16
It is beautiful and works so well with the Rose Wonder stamp set. Its a must have!
